Water Quality
At the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, our mission is to save the Bay and its waterways by educating, uniting, and inspiring people to take action. Since our founding in 1966 as a private, citizen-based organization with the motto Save the Bay™, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation has grown from just a few staff and members to a major regional force advocating for clean water, environmental education, and Bay restoration.

Through these collaborative projects ACWA has facilitated numerous urban tree plantings, creek cleanups, and public meetings to showcase the importance of improving our local lands and waters.
