Catoctin Land Trust is Maryland’s only land trust dedicated to preserving the woods and waters of the Appalachian Trail landscape. Our vision is an enduring connected and living Appalachian Mountain mountain landscape of protected forests, clean streams, regenerative farmland and vibrant communities in Frederick and Washington counties. We also convene the Heart of Maryland Collaborative, a network of partners and people who bring an exceptional depth of experience and interests, working together to preserve and restore our mountain landscape.
