John Campagna of The Land Group and Don Owen, land conservation consultant for the Maryland Environmental Trust, have been working for the past year to identify landowners interested in potential stream restoration and reforestation projects in the Catoctin Creek watershed. An informal gathering in November generated interest by several landowners, and the team is inviting all interested landowners to learn more about how watershed and reforestation projects can benefit landowners and the surrounding community.
