Thanks once again to Tod and Barry Salisbury of Preserve the Middletown Valley for leading on landowner outreach in the Heart of Maryland. They invite you to join HMCA partners, November 1 from 2–4pm, for an outdoor gathering to discuss reforestation and stream restoration project sites on private land that benefit the community environmentally, and landowners monetarily. The goal of the informal gathering is to understand better how stream restoration projects within the Catoctin and Potomac watersheds and reforestation projects in Frederick County may benefit landowners and the surrounding community. Experts on the topic will be there from private businesses, land trusts, and county government. Light refreshments will be served, and Covid protocols will be followed (face masks, physical distancing, etc.). Dress for fall weather as we will meet in a covered outside patio. Please forward!
