Individual property owners and nonprofit organizations with historic properties are invited to apply to the Frederick County Rural Historic Preservation Grant Program. Eligible activities include stabilization, rehabilitation, restoration, and/or preservation to the exterior of a historic property — including work on historic stone walls and fences. Grants of up to $50,000 are designed to preserve, protect, and enhance rural historic properties. A virtual workshop January 11, 5:30–6:30pm, will offer in depth information. Register for the workshop and learn more about the grant program here. Click on Grants.
