HMCA has been awarded a grant from the prestigious Chesapeake Bay Land and Water Initiative: a project of the Chesapeake Bay Funders Network and the Land Trust Alliance. Funds will be used to coordinate efforts to develop a collaborate plan for landscape-scale conservation in the Heart of Maryland, identify and apply for funds that can accelerate conservation, develop a shared digital display map for our two counties, and create branding and media strategies to elevate public understanding region’s values.
