Join friends and partners for the Heart of Maryland Conservation Alliance fall gathering at ThorpeWood mountain retreat, November 9 from 9:30am til 2pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Our presenters include Dennis Frye and Catherine Magi on the story of Elk Ridge; Pamela Roy of Appalachian Trail Conservancy on ranking the Trail’s scenic vistas; Nathaniel Hitt, USGS, on the trout of Catoctin Mountain. Karen Russell of the Climate Change Working Group FC will share a vision for connectivity through wildlife corridors. We’ll learn about financing stream restoration from Bryan Seipp of Ecotone; and roll out a new BMP calculator dashboard.
