When the 2020 Land Conservation Conference and Symposium was cancelled due to Covid-19, conference organizers got to work on the next best thing. Forever Maryland Foundation, host of the annual event, will present 2020 Vision & Beyond: Climate, Conservation & Collaboration, a series of six webinars in May. The theme addresses issues and topics related to climate change and the future of land conservation in our region.

There is a terrific lineup of presenters and topics. Of special interest to the Heart of Maryland is the May 13 presentation by Bill Labich of the Highstead Foundation. He will explore how regional conservation partnerships like HMCA can catalyze conservation. All of the presenters are thought leaders and experts in their fields, bringing regional, national, and global perspectives.
